CSMA Standards

The Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Association (CSMA) standards provide a reliable and consistent way to measure aerosol valve diptube lengths. By measuring from the top of the mounting cup to the bottom of the diptube, manufacturers are able to accurately determine the length of the diptube. Doing so is a close match to the dimensions of aerosol valve diptubes and their associated tinplate, ensuring a high-quality product that is uniform in size and meets the necessary safety regulations. CSMA standards help ensure that aerosol products are fit for purpose.
